As friendships, village life and an increasingly important wedding planner pull him from detached observation into human attachment, the very experiences that may save him also make his mission harder to control.

With the visa clock running down and the affection protocol still judging him, Zyx must decide whether passing the test means obeying the system that exiled him, or becoming someone the system was never designed to understand.
